VIBE stands for “Vlaams Instituut voor Bio-Ecologisch bouwen en wonen”. We are a Flemish non-profit organisation that promotes natural building and living and educates its principles. We’re talking about eco friendly homes and workplaces that form healthy environments for us to reside in.

In doing this, we keep the four components in mind that make up a human and nature friendly construction:

Each of these aspects is looked at from the point of view of both health ("Gezondheid") and environment. Only this way we can get an insight into the whole picture.

Our headquarters in Antwerp issues a label that is logically called the “VIBE-label”. It is awarded to distributors, contractors, architects and other construction professionals that have proven to be experienced in handling the materials we advise. Their addresses can be consulted in our data base.

The key to this wanted label lies in the “natureplus” label, of which VIBE is the Belgian representative. (see www.naturplus.org for more information)

Internationale conferentie: natureplus & LCA (16 & 17 mei)

De medewerkers van VIBE zijn omwille van de studiedagen op 16 en 17 mei niet telefonisch bereikbaar. Vragen per mail zullen we afhandelen vanaf dinsdag 21 mei a.s.

Infosessie Postgraduaat 'BEB': 16 mei

VIBE en KUL/KAHo organiseren op 16 mei een infosessie over het postgraduaat 'Bio-Ecologisch Bouwen. Duurzaam bouwen en Wonen volgens Bio-Ecologische principes’. Meer informatie zie de VIBE-agenda.

 Wonen met de Natuur is het kwartaaltijdschrift van VIBE, dat samen met Beter Bouwen en Verbouwen wordt verspreid.
